Histories

In a common world we believe that tomatoes came from Italy, and then became a common crop in America specifically California. Not all of what we believe is true. In times before America, South America and Italy were common suppliers for each other. Before tomatoes, Italians used cheese and common plants like olives to make their sauces. So, to no one who was asking, thank the Southern Americans for your common spaghetti sauce you see today.

There are multiple types of tomatoes. I strongly believe that Roma tomatoes are the best type of tomato to create sauce. A Roma tomato is a medium size tomato and they look like a large jelly bean. According to (https://authoritynutrition.com/foods/tomatoes), a medium size tomato that is roughly 123 grams contains around 22 calories. The tomato is made up of 95% water and the other 5% consists of carbohydrates and fibers.
